    How about tax credits instead of vouchers? Once the money comes from government there are always strings attached. Also what happens to private schools when people are allowed to attend without skin in the game?

    It is strong parental involvement that makes for a good education, first in the home, then in the classroom, PTA, or school board. I fear too many lazy Americans want their children to have a great education without doing the hard work.

    Apathy is what got us to where we are today. As usual, we’re focused on the symptoms rather than the root of the problem. We need to fix the character of individuals and families first.
